The Unlock moment with Tayo Adebisi - from startup to £5m revenues

Tayo Adebisi is the Founder and CEO of Tilz Prosperitas Limited and the Tilz Collection brand, a Leeds-based ecommerce and global trade business she built from £5,000 in 2017 into a multi-market, multi-million pound exporter trading across the EU, North America, and Australia. Half of the company's revenue is now generated through exports, ahead of plan against a 2029 target. Born in Nigeria and settled in Leeds, Tayo built the business through disciplined market entries on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and The Range, alongside four private label brands and a growing wholesale channel. Her work has been recognised by UK Export Finance and the Department for Business and Trade, and profiled in The Guardian, The Mirror, and the Yorkshire Evening Post. Beyond Tilz, Tayo is a guest lecturer on the University of Bradford MBA programme on global logistics and supply chain, a Steering Partner of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership Business and Policy Forum, a Board Member of the African Business Association UK, and a close partner of the International Trade Centre's SheTrades initiative. She is a vocal advocate for female and ethnic minority entrepreneurs scaling internationally.
